Crown Reduction
Crown reduction is used to reduce mechanical stress on the tree itself and to make it suitable to where it’s planted not allowing it to grow too big for its environment.
Foliage bearing portions will be reduced but the final result should retain the main framework of the crown.
Crown Thinning
Crown thinning does not alter the overall size or shape of the tree. This method is used to remove smaller branches on the outer crown and throughout the tree. It is used to reduce wind resistance and to allow more light to pass through the tree
Crown Rising
This is the removal of the lowest branches of the tree. It is an effective method of increasing light to the area directly below the tree or to enable access below the tree for example in a busy street.
Mulching & Chipping
Tree surgery can result in a lot of waste wood which is of no use to the landowner. However we try and recycle as much as possible shredding all waste through a wood shredder and then to recycle the waste timber for use as a mulch on flowerbeds or for composting.
Site Clearance
During site clearance it may be necessary to fell numerous trees. This is done using various techniques. It can also result in a huge amount of tree stumps which also have to be removed. This can be easily done using specialist equipment, we can grind the stump to below ground level, allowing you to use the soil as best possible.
